Join us for an inspiring and reflective afternoon at the Later Career Workshop on Sunday 23 November, prior to the ASM.
Featuring presentations by Later Career FACEMs; Career Evolution by Dr George Braitberg, Retirement: The First Year by Dr Drew Richardson, and When I’m 64 by Dr Diana Badcock, this event explores the personal and professional journeys through the later stages of a career in emergency medicine and into retirement. From leadership lessons and evolving identities to the realities—and rewards—of life after full-time work, each speaker offers unique insights and candid reflections.
You will also participate in a shared session with New Fellows, including a presentation from Dr David Green, who will reflect on his four decades of service and leadership at Gold Coast University Hospital. An interactive activity will follow, encouraging meaningful dialogue and connection between New Fellows and Later Career Fellows.
Whether you’re approaching retirement or have recently retired, don’t miss this opportunity to learn, connect, and be inspired.
Please note: This workshop is open to ACEM Fellows and members only. This is a standalone workshop and registration to the ASM is not required.
