Professor Diana Egerton-Warburton OAM is an Emergency Physician and The Conjoint Professor of Emergency Care Research at the School of Clinical Sciences at Monash Health, at Monash University. She is passionate about patient, community and climate advocacy and has led numerous national and international multi-site clinical trials and public health research projects. Her research emphasises pragmatic implementation science to influence practice and policy. She has been researching PIVC use in Emergency Departments for more than a decade, and the Australian Commission has cited her research for Safety and Quality in Healthcare and the World Health Organisation.
