Dr. Donna Franklin is a Paediatric Research Fellow and Registered Nurse with over 30 years of experience in Paediatric Critical Care. Her research focuses on paediatric respiratory medicine, particularly developing oxygen-therapy methods like Nasal High-Flow (NHF), reducing care escalation in children. She has over 40 publications, including in NEJM and JAMA. As Nursing Co-Chair of the WFPICCS Research Committee, she supports global research collaborations, including with low-to-middle-income countries. Franklin is committed to translating research into clinical practice, improving care for children in rural, remote, and Indigenous communities.
