Dr Elizabeth Evans is an Emergency Physician at Gold Coast University Hospital and a Research Fellow with Griffith University. A recent FACEM, she leads departmental research coordination, journal club, and education initiatives. Originally from Scotland, Elizabeth is more familiar with the themes of horizontal rain, black ice, and drinking than “sun, sand, and surf” – but after eight years of Australian weather (and gaining citizenship this year), she feels suitably qualified to chair this session. In her spare time, she’s the worst in her aquarobics class and a lifelong Ricky Martin fan.
