JJames is an Emergency Consultant and ED Medical Commander at Gold Coast University Hospital, with an interest in patient flow. He works within the Performance – Service Improvement division at the Gold Coast Health and previously in Transformation Advisory, contributing to hospital-wide projects in patient flow and virtual care. Originally trained in the UK, he moved to Australia in 2011 to complete Emergency Medicine training, including a year back in the UK in a major trauma centre. Outside of work, James is a busy dad of two and enjoys Liverpool FC, skiing, scuba diving, and once loved to travel.
