Dr Kate Mahady BMedSci (Hons) BMBS FRCR FRANZCR
Kate Mahady is a diagnostic and paediatric and adult interventional neuroradiology Consultant at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital where she has worked full time since 2016.
She was trained in the UK and completed diagnostic and interventional neuroradiology fellowships across London and in Brisbane before her early consultant INR years in North Bristol. She returned to Australia and attained FRANZCR in 2017.
She completed a sabbatical at Great Ormond Street in London in 2023 after initially training there in 2012, and has been working towards a formal paediatric INR service at Queensland Children’s Hospital for INR since 2017.
She is cochair of the Australian Stroke Care registry (AusCr) and modality lead for INR at RBWH.
She is a national and international invited speaker for Neuroradiology, and an active participant in teaching, training, patient safety and research activity.
