Lauren MacIvor is an Emergency Medicine Registrar at Gold Coast University Hospital and is currently in the Research Registrar role. She has a strong interest in improving care for vulnerable patient groups, including those affected by sexual assault and domestic violence. She is actively involved in quality improvement initiatives, particularly in the areas of post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP) and the management of body fluid exposures in the emergency setting. Passionate about translating evidence into practice, Lauren combines research with education to advocate for safe, timely and equitable care.
