Dr. Matthew Marion, an Emergency Medicine physician in Gisborne (Tairāwhiti) and Tauranga New Zealand. He is a Fellow of the American and Australasian Colleges of Emergency Medicine. He has extensive experience in both urban and remote settings with a particular interest in festival/mass gathering medicine. Heading the Emergency Department at Gisborne Hospital since 2022, Matt is also a keen waterman, spending his free time exploring NZ through surfing, kitesurfing, and spearfishing.
