Michelle is an Adult and Paediatric Emergency physician in Qld who is currently in a Service Line Director role in Metro North. She is passionate about streamlining processes and improving care for our emergency patients. Equity of access for all patients but particularly our First Nations people is close to her heart with her father and mother heavily engaged with communities and working in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health in Queensland. She was born and spent her infancy in the community at Bwgcolman and has been priveleged to have had the opportunity to engage with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander staff and consumers and employ Indigenous Research principles in the Deadly Red and Deadly Steps projects.
