Dr Valent is a FACEM working in regional Northland, Aotearoa. She has a strong subspecialty interest in Prehospital and Retrieval Medicine and has worked in this field in New Zealand since 2017. She has represented ACEM on the clinical and technical advisory group for the Aeromedical Commissioning Program for the past three years. She is the mother to three young children and in any spare time she can find she enjoys spending time in the sea or horse riding.
