Session title
Riding the wave of change in our approach to analgesia in the ED: Introducing Penthrox® (methoxyflurane) amid clinical, operational, and climate pressures
Objective
To discuss clinical experiences of introducing Penthrox® into the ED, focussing on patient outcomes and impact to workflow; and to support the audience in evaluating the role of Penthrox® in their own clinical practice.
Synopsis
Emergency Departments continue to face growing pressures to reduce patient length of stay, time to analgesia, and their carbon footprint.1 This can be challenging in an overcrowded and under-resourced environment.1 In this session, hear directly from clinicians who have introduced Penthrox® into their EDs. Expert panellists will share real-world insights on clinical outcomes and the practical impact for both patients and departments. Join us for an open and engaging discussion on what’s working, lessons learned and plans for the future.
